In no particular order:  Summer Camp by gigglingkat

Title: Summer Camp
Author: gigglingkat
Rating: G
Word Count: 5500
Warnings: Set pre-series with no spoilers. This fic is a shameless attack on the heartstrings. What kind of warning does that rate?
Summary: "I sent his brother to summer camp," he explained. "You heartless bastard," laughed the manager. "That seems to be the general consensus," John agreed.

An excellent mix of humor and emotional storytelling to make this a pure classic in Fandom.

First off I just like the premise of sending Dean to summer camp. Because it's something so inherently normal that John figured he'd be doing the right thing by letting Dean interact with kids his own age and be a boy. Well wrong John lol

Both Dean and Sammy are a tad heartbreaking in this and I love her notes on this story, which better explains why I love it so much. They are both acting like they are too old and too young at the same time, because no one seems to want to listen to them.

Dean acting out on his own accord because he wants to be home with his family and Sam acting out because he doesn't recognize John without Dean.

All in all a very enjoyable read that you can re-read again and again and gleam new things out of it every time.
